We currently have a new project to help provide a teddy bear friend to local children that are entering the foster care system.
Soroptimist International Pahrump Valley has partnered with another great group called CASA which provides court appointed advocates for these children to help ensure the child’s best interest is always 1st, during the foster care process.
These children are often pulled out of their homes in the middle of the night without many of their own personal items. This program provides a Hug-a Bear to their personal advocate to help break the ice and start building trust between the child and the child’s court appointed advocate. It also can help bring some comfort to a child who’s world has been turned upside down.

You can pick up your bear at American Family Insurance @ 1141 S Hwy 160 ( on Postal Rd)*no cash on premises or email me back to make other arrangements!
